Abstract
The study aimed at identifying the level of psychological depression in cancer patients at Misurata Center for Oncology. The study sample consisted of (230) cancer patients of both sexes, male and female. The study used the Beck scale for depression. The basic data form was used for sex and the type of treatment. The study found results. Most cancer patients have high depression ( %65.52) (63.95) suffer from moderate depression. While those with mild depression (%6.52) There were no statistically significant differences in psychological depression according to gender While there were significant differences in the level of psychological depression in cancer patients according to the variable type of treatment. In favor of chemotherapy with an average of (8.90), higher than the mean (50.98) for patients with the type of chemotherapy.
