This research deals with an Arab thinker denominated jamaladdin Al – Afghani, who was born in one in one of Afghani villages (Asadabad). He adopted several reformatory ideas and opinions which muslims called for, the most important of which was the notion of the Islamic league. Chapter (1): Jamaladdin Al – Afghani (1254 Pl – 1838 / 1313 Pl – 1897) This chapter tackles his birth, grow – up, life and the most significant trips and business he carried out. Chapter (2): The Islamic League: This chapter tackles the emergence of the notion of the Islamic League, its adoption by Sultan Abdul Hamid, Success realized and difficulties encountered it. Chapter (3): Ideas of Jamaladdin Al – Afghani: This chapter deals with the role played by Jamaladdin Al – Afghani, his attitude towards the Islamic league, issuance of Al – Orwa Al – Wothga Newspaper and its objective in addition to the most important calls made by the Sheikh in both religious and political aspects. The conclusion enumerates the most significant findings reached through this research.
